Hello everyone,
My mother is from Kaipara, in Northland, and my father is from Rotorua.
My Husband's name is Roland Monk.
I have 6 children, Noah, Shirllee-Anne better known as "Poppet", Jessica, Frances, Māreikura and Kataraina Monk.
My name is Christal Monk.

Christal recently graduated a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Management at S.I.T and is currently a Provisional Member of CA ANZ. She received the Prime Minister’s Scholarship of Asia 2022 which was held in Tokyo February 2024, due to covid restrictions and recipient of The Nga Raumanko Scholarship, 2023 Maori Accounting Scholarships through Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) in partnership with Nga Kaitatau Maori o Aotearoa (NKMoA).

Christal is passionate about finding strategies that empower individuals, particularly SMEs, coming from a small business background. Through the realisation of her purpose, she has learned the importance of consistency, absolute resilience, and integrity. She is determined to do her utmost to help alleviate the pressure on business owners.

Christal is extremely focused and determine to become a Chartered Accountant and serve the community that has provided her with great support throughout her accounting journey. Christal’s mission is to give back and add value wherever possible.

Christal’s home is her haven and spending time with husband and their children is extremely important to her. Strong foundations at home allow Christal to continue this journey with confidence and gratitude.
